The goal of the International Workshop on Dark Matter and Stars 2018 is to bring together scientists working across different research fields of stellar astrophysics and dark matter to discuss the current status and the future prospects of dark matter research. Talks will address topics such as Dark Matter Candidates, The Sun and Helioseismology, Stellar Astrophysics and Compact Astrophysical Objects.

Aimed at researchers in the field and young scientists alike, the workshop will be held at CENTRA, Center for Astrophysics and Gravitation of the Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal   .

The International Workshop in Dark Matter and Stars 2018 will take place at the Abreu Faro Auditorium, Complexo Interdisciplinar located in Instituto Superior Técnico, Av. Rovisco Pais, Lisbon, Portugal   .

In case you decide to arrive by metro (subway) you can choose between two stations, Saldanha (yellow/red line) or Alameda (green/red line), both at a 5-10 minute walk from the venue.
